Arch Linux > Ubuntu

Only reason I'm on Windows right now is because I've been too lazy to take 3 hours to setup arch from scratch.

Plus, WoW, and some other PC games.

Arch Linux? I'll have to check it out. But, I believe that Fedora is the best. But, there's not that much support for it. Ubuntu is the most widespread.

Yeah, WoW should be on Linux natively. That would be amazing.

You may not want Arch Linux. You start from a terminal and build from there. I like it because it is highly customizable, easy to configure, and rolling release, which means each new ISO will not bring anything new. Just a fixed up installer and updated packages. Once you install Arch you update your system reguarily and you are always up to date. Unlike Ubuntu which requires you to install a new system every 6 months.

Oh, well actually that' what I would like. I love the Terminal. I repent the APT lines and Synaptic Packages and .deb's. I prefer "sudo apt-get" and tarballs. But, building from the ground up may be a little much. I might try it one day. lol. maybe..

Arch Linux uses pacman (PACkage MANager).

You run sudo pacman -S program-name

You can also easily compile programs from the "Arch User Repository". You basically download a file that says where the tarball is, what version it is, developer, etc.

You install the program with that file, and the program will compile and also create a nice entry for itself in Pacman's program database, so if you compile software, you can easily remove it.
